Who

Little Fishes Soft Play Centre is a brand new, purpose-built soft play facility at Hemsworth Methodist Church. Our vision started back in 2016 and after years of fundraising, months of building and a global pandemic, we are excited to have brought our ideas to life!

 

At Little Fishes Hemsworth we like to give people the oppertunities to volunteer with us in order to gain skills and experience needed to further their own personal development. We give access to training as well as one to one support whilst volunteering at the centre where possible. As a result we are thankful to all our volunteers who make our Soft Play centre a unique family atmosphere which carers of children feel welcomed and comfortable.  

 

We are a Christian community who value each person as a unique individual, so Little Fishes Soft Play Centre will be available to the whole community, welcoming people of all faiths and none. We have partnered with Hemsworth Methodist Chapel to provide a specific Christian-based session called “Fiesta” for children and their families. During in the session we will explore what it means to be a Christian in a fun, interactive and relevant way! We will include songs, crafts, stories and lots of fun! We also have open play sessions as well as themed sessions and events throughout the year.

We are passionate about making a positive impact in our community and providing a safe and fun-filled place where we can enjoy creativity, life, and fun together.

What

We have a 3-storey soft play climbing frame with a separate play area for little ones. Our soft play equipment is packed full slides, giant balance balls, climbing frames, sensory lights and of course lots of climbing.

​

We also a have café with seating area where we serve fresh coffee, snacks, drinks and healthy meals.

Where

We are based at Hemsworth Methodist Church, Westfield Road, Hemsworth, WF9 4QG. We have a limited number of parking spaces on site, however there is plenty of parking nearby! Please be considerate to our neighbours! Public transport is close by and of course we are not too far from the centre of Hemsworth.
